Rebecca J. Whitcombe

Rebecca received her Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Bonaventure University in 1995 and her J.D. from Cornell Law School in 2001. She worked as an associate with Kalcheim Schatz & Berger (now Berger|Schatz) from 2002 to 2004, then at Schwartz Wolf & Bernstein LLP before starting her own practice in 2010. She was Of Counsel with Clark & Steiner from 2012 to 2014, and currently serves as an adjunct professor with College of Lake County, teaching family law as part of their Paralegal Studies Program.
Rebecca is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the Lake County Bar Association, and is Co-Secretary of the Association of Women Attorneys of Lake County. She was the Co-Editor of The Docket, the Lake County Bar Associations monthly legal publication, from 2009 until 2013, and has been a board member of The Docket since 2006. She has written multiple articles for The Docket and has presented numerous times at the Lake County Bar Association Family Law Committees annual Family Law Seminar and elsewhere.
