Alan Pearlman

Since 1974 Alan Pearlman, Ltd. has been helping the people of Chicagoland and Lake County with their Criminal and Family Law problems. From that time until today, Mr. Pearlman has strictly focused on these two areas of legal concentration. Mr. Pearlman can meet your needs regarding Adoption, Child Custody Matters, Dissolution of Marriage (Divorce), Child Support, Visitation and Maintenance (formerly known as Alimony).

As a past Assistant State's Attorney for Cook County Illinois, a past Prosecutor for the Secretary of State’s Office in Illinois and a past Hearing officer for the office of the Secretary of State of Illinois, Mr. Pearlman is well able to help you with any area of Criminal Law, Felony Prosecutions or DUI matters that currently confront you.

Mr. Pearlman has served as an elected member of the Illinois State Bar Association Assembly, Traffic Law and Court Section Council, Committee on Minority and Women Participation, and past Chair of the Fellows of the Illinois Bar Foundation. He is currently serving as a member of the FAMILY LAW SECTION COUNCIL of the ILLINOIS STATE BAR ASSOCIATION and he is their Internet Liaison as well.

Mr. Pearlman has written extensively on the issues involved in both the Criminal Law and the Dissolution of Marriage Process and frequently writes articles in several Family Law Journals, including the American Bar Associations Family Advocate Journal.
