David Weinstein

David S. Weinstein has been a trial attorney for over 26 years. He concentrates his practice in major criminal and Civil trial and appellate work. Mr. Weinstein has tried over 150 Jury Trials, and has tried 18 Homicide Cases. Mr. Weinstein has tried numerous complicated cases to verdict and is considered one of the top trial attorneys in the area.

Mr. Weinstein is licensed in the State of Illinois and is a member of the Federal Trial Bar of the Northern District of Illinois, the Eastern District of Wisconsin, and the Eastern District of Iowa.

Prior to founding his own successful practice, Mr. Weinstein served as an Assistant District Attorney prosecuting major felony cases in Miami, Florida. Mr. Weinstein then became a Senior Assistant Public Defender in Waukegan, Il. where he defended serious felony cases including death penalty cases.

After a distinguished career in public service, Mr. Weinstein joined a large international insurance law firm where he served as a trial attorney handling serious personal injury cases and other complicated litigation. Mr. Weinstein has extensive experience handling all types of criminal and civil litigation.

Mr. Weinstein has represented individuals and companies nationwide and has taught law and lectured other trial lawyers on trial techniques. He is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the Lake County Bar Association.
